As of May 25, 2018, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data – Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 – will be applicable. This regulation establishes the rules regarding the protection, processing, and free movement of personal data of individuals and applies directly to all entities that process such data in any Member State of the European Union, namely Portugal.

The purpose of this communication is to inform you of the new rules applicable to the processing of such personal data, your rights, and how you can directly and easily manage your consent.

Within the scope and for the purposes of the services we provide to you, Vihume Lda, to the extent that it determines the means of processing and purposes, is the entity responsible for processing your personal data and ensuring the protection of your privacy, acting in accordance with the law and the new Regulation.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, customers are permitted to remove their contact information at any time. This website collects visitor data (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, etc.) for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision – Whenever necessary, to provide you with our services and activities, we process your personal data. Beyond this purpose, your data will also be processed to provide third-party services, when you have expressly consented.
  • Platforms and Applications – Vihume’s partners (including their employees) are solely responsible for processing data made available on platforms and applications about their respective end customers. They are responsible for informing their end customers about the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). 
  • Marketing Purposes – Your personal, traffic, geographic location, profile, and/or consumption data are also processed for marketing purposes or for the dissemination of offers of Vihume goods or services, if authorized. These marketing activities are intended to inform you of news, promotions, campaigns, and other opportunities that may benefit you.

Your personal data may be disclosed to Vihume service providers for the purpose of providing services, and to judicial, tax, and regulatory authorities for compliance with legal requirements.

We are committed to protecting and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal data. We have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to comply with the Regulation, ensuring that the processing of your personal data is lawful, fair, transparent, and limited to authorized purposes. We have adopted the measures we deem appropriate to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of your personal data, as well as all other rights to which you are entitled.
